We do better in cultures in which we are good fits. We do better in places that reflect our own values and beliefs. Just as the goal is not to do business with anyone who simply wants what you have, but to do business with people who believe what you believe, so too is it beneficial to live and work in a place where you will naturally thrive because your values and beliefs align with the values and beliefs of that culture.
And those who were seen dancing were thought insane by those who could not hear the music

Are you up for it?!?!?
WHAM! They’re here. That’s how I felt recently when the universe sent me a curveball in the form of encountering people who have caused me pain in the past. There I am going along being that divine, zen Empress-person and I look around and there.they. were. What do I do? Lol, well I did what any zen Empress does: I sent a frantic, incredulous, annoyed message to my life coach, in the eloquent tones of “Can you friggin BELIEVE?!!” Among other things, her response was that I should send them love and light. o_O Say whaaaaaat? She always gives me these things to do that seem titanic but then I unwittingly smile inside because although on one level I scream and rant, “no, never!” another aspect of me smiles confidently at the challenge, knowing that I (like all of us human blessings) am capable of all things, even the huge ones like forgiveness; and that after I have accomplished this seemingly titanic task, I will be better. It is all too easy and furthermore perceived as normal for us to reach for hate, vengeance, anger and animosity but in the words of Janelle Monae in her song ‘Many Moons’ “Tell me, are you bold enough to reach for love?”

Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species. Though the gifts of the wildish nature come to us at birth, society’s attempt to “civilize” us into rigid roles has plundered this treasure, and muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls. Without Wild Woman, we become over-domesticated, fearful, uncreative, trapped.

It’s beautiful when you find someone that is in love with your mind. Someone that wants to undress your conscience and make love to your thoughts. Someone that wants to watch you slowly take down all the walls you’ve built up around your mind and let them inside.
